Everyone in my tattoo studio was going mad over this when I went in to get mine done, my artist even printed off a copy as inspiration for the leaf colours. The photo-realism is just insane.

The reactions to my tattoo pictures on tumblr over the past few days seem to suggest that 99% of people on here are lovely, sweet, complimentary individuals, and the other few are rude douchebags who seemingly have nothing better to do than insult other people for the most random of reasons.
I have for sure gotten to the healing stage now. My side is itching like crazy.

I’ve wanted this for a year and a half now and finally got around to getting it today.
The meaning of the leaves is threefold - 1) I love nature, 2) They represent change (and I decided I wanted to get it at a time in my life when I was making a lot of changes), and 3) They remind me of being in the woods taking pictures and feeling blissfully happy.
It has turned out better than I could have ever imagined and I’m so happy with it :)
I love henna, and this is such a beautiful example.
I had a henna tattoo done at a Bengali New Year festival I went to a couple of years ago. It was gorgeous and I was so sad when it faded - it lasted a good 2-3 weeks though.

My colleague saw my tattoo for the first time yesterday. He thought I had drawn it on with felt tip, and upon me telling him it was real he said that was “rock and roll”.
Getting very inspired for my next tattoo. Do not like having to wait for moneys!
