My brother and his boyfriend just got engaged
His boyfriend proposed at the zoo (which is where they had their first date) in front of the tiger enclosure (which are my brother’s favourite animals). So basically it was super cute. I’m really happy for them.
The wedding will probably not be for a real long time but that is not going to stop me planning what fabulous outfit I can wear to my first gay wedding.
I took a sleeping pill last night
Which meant that for the first time in a week I slept for more than 3 hours, which was great, but it also gave me the weirdest dreams:

I’ve been suffering with this ear infection. It’s been kind of there in the background for like a week, but last night there were a few times where for 10 minutes the pain was unbearable, where I was literally crying and shaking uncontrollably it hurt so bad. Through some psychic twist of fate, I just registered with the doctor yesterday, so I got an appointment this morning....

I added a new food blog to my Google Reader today
I’d had a quick look at the site. The first few recipes looked nice - cookies, enchiladas etc etc. Just scrolling back through the posts on my reader and there was a post all about her infant daughter pooping all over the bath mat WITH PICTURES. WTF?! So much grossness. I have never unsubscribed so quickly.

I've gotten myself into this rut lately
Where I feel really down a lot because I’m not working. I have no money, and I mostly feel like my life has very little purpose, and also I get lonely a lot because besides Pie, the only person I regularly spend any time with is my driving instructor.
